Singlish

About Singlish....hmm, this is not something I wana investigate on but unfortunately, I have it for my world culture presentation.
Simply can't deny that it reminds me of everything happened in last year.
The good's and the bad's. Of course, they are all over now.

Everyone was laughing so hard at this video, I was, too.
If you're watching this, you would have to admit that's worth laughing.

But anyway. I got a little hyper yesterday in art studio.
guess I was having too much fun chatting with my friends in the table.
Plus my art teacher, who simply is a master of humor. He is really hilarious.

So I was trying to finish up my still life, guess I succeeded guess I didn't. The project was however dued a month ago.. :p
For the good of completence, I would rather make it look neat and finished.

And I was..overwhelmedly moved when he told me the work was awesome.
Noone can literally make me feel so relieved on feedbacking my art pieces except my parents. (They don't often do that, so yeah)

I'm not saying I wanna hear that everyday, because candy tastes sweeter after you devour a lemon, doesn't it?

Yeah, life is still moving on. Can't wait for the response and summer vacation to come!

dream/ prediction

speaking of my dream, I had a really sweet dream last night.

I met my classmates from 7th and 8th grades also, my "new" schoolroom...

I put new in quotation marks because that was the classroom in the art school. I'm not certain of the size and look of the room, but I know where I was when I was there.

I was happy, literally.

For some reasons I hung out with all my old friends and celebrated for graduation. Feels kinda ironic but who cares, it was just a dream. yeah/

Tierney was right. She said she loves art school because..when you'r doing wierd things, you'r actually being part of them. she spoke of her bestie whom i just friended with. Her name is Kelly and she said: "The first month in art school...I just feel so normal! "

perhaps that's something harsh about the art school. But you can actually meet tons of coolies there.

Today and yesterday we had all big sunshine, rather mild and hot.

Makes me realize that THIS IS JUST LIKE SUMMER

cept the fact that I HATEHATEHATE BUGS/FLIES/INSECTS

roar like a dino

I just finished reading today's assignment for English 2--1984 119-150. To me, I used to think that this is a lot but not so much watsoever. In Chatham, I can't really feel the difference in life but life is moving on! and i'm so happy for this kinda casual and sophisticated style of living. who does really care about popularity? like I don't care; it just happens sometimes when you're actually used to it. I have a really cute and great friend here who's been utterly depressed with something else..something that I could understand for her. Well...whatelse could I have done to make things better? afterall, I would just stand there and set silence. OH yes! setting silence is like my favorite thing to do when i'm with a bunch of people. it is (perhaps) bad and not friendly but I couldn't help it is the matter of fact.
To Tomoka, I really don't seem to quite figure out what makes you so down; however, I do know what it's like to be depressed and not well-alarmed by things. Perhaps you were always the positive one who kept things straight and simply, perhaps not but I hope that is not true. Not like a regular busy and eventful life like we had in our homecountries, but life can be quite okay sometimes..? that's the assurance I give to myself since I may as well stay in this no-where.
Hope I can see smile stuffed on your face in the next couple days zhixiang ! : ]

*oh well. why don't you just get a blogger?! haa

This is what I found out

so, this is what I've been doing after a moment I got the letter from Pratt Institute. For some of you who may not know what the heck this school is, I really have to tell you that this school is good on its conceptive plans for all the artists there. I may sound like I know a lot more about the school while I don't, but figuring out a great art school for a day is enough for me.
Georgia O'keeffe, a quite famous female artist from Sun Prairie, is another big discovery I found for the day. The discovery was that this great woman had actually graduated from my school! [Chatham H(e)all]I now can't believe that I answered Dr. Fountain as a "no" when he asked me do I know Georgia O'keeffe? Well..at least her name was familiar to me. At that point, I was still doubting whether she is a he or a she. cause if she was a he then he wouldn't have possibly graduated from this place.
Any other way, Chatham Hall might not be the critical reason that results in her artistic success, may even be the least, that's what I think for most.
So I browsed through the "senior blogs" and randomly clicked on a guy who's currently major in industrial design (intersting criteria, I may get my head into in someday).
And so he talks about his life in searching for a job after graduation from college (well. not quite, but close to there), somehow this makes me scared slighty. I was scared for the industries who might be giving me a job opportunity like his. yet I know i'm just a sophomore, not a sophomore in college! but a sophomore in high school : wow! that was better...

Easter

It's almost easter!
before anything stupid happens, i have to defend myself that I did NOT go to the easter egg hunt cause all they got was...... tons and eggs and bags of candy
: S and right, totally not worth it
we had another carnival on Sunday noon and ARTS NIGHT on saturday night,
both of them put me down a little bit.
it is true that my school is so small and maybe not so constructional..
but at some point, i think there's bound to have something...more conceptive
Anyway, some of the art performance was good except the fact that "art exhibition" was not part of the crew
I don't really get it, I mean I know arts in CH is not a critical department. But the works we've done....don't they deserve to be performed as well?
˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙
whatever, easter break is coming!!! this afternoon!! : DD
